Welcome

Freemasonry is one of the world’s oldest social and charitable organisations in the world.
In England it is governed by the United Grand Lodge of England, established in 1717

The principles of freemasonry surround the four important values of Integrity, Friendship, Respect and Charity.

The Masonic Charitable Foundation has, since 1980 made over £100 Million in grants. Every lodge raises money for charity from collections to events with many social events held to raise money for a variety charities, from a golf day to a local fete and anything in between.

You will meet a wide range of people of differing backgrounds and ages and make friends with a lot of likeminded people.

We hold social events across the year either as a lodge or as part of a larger group of lodges and these are advertised on local social media pages.

The United Grand Lodge of England in London is open every day to visitors and you can book guided tours which are highly recommended.

Our lodge “profile” which will tell you more about our lodge in particular can be found here: Wilfrid Attenborough 7672 Profile
